The bedroom was excellent, as was the sitting room. However, the bathroom was certainly not up to 4 1/2 star standards. The bath had black mould around it and had cracked away from the wall tiles. The shower curtain was frayed and the shower was directly on show to an uncurtained window which was opposite windows from another part of the building. Although frosted glass, I found this very uncomfortable and something I have never come across before.
Also the toilet cistern kept getting stuck and would not stop running water. I must say the breakfast in their restaurant was excellent.
Armidale is an excellent place to visit. Great food at their restaurants. The University is top class and the buildings and grounds are much better than the University of NSW and Sydney University. Students there are very lucky.
