Hassle-free comfortable affordable accomodation

Good location close to Railway, bus depot and main street. Motel staff were friendly and helpful, and even called me a taxi as part of the service! My stay was relaxing and the motel room and beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and a T. The bathroom is modern with an excellent shower. A toaster is provided but no plates or cutlery. Lots of stairs to climb but didnt mind the exercise. I look forward to staying there again.

Wagga Wagga is a large town/satellite city with a lot shops and antique and op shops and eateries. It is quiet attractive with a mix of old and new buildings. A great place to stop and shop for few days.

Average motel

Average motel in an average town. The motel's dining room was closed on the day we stayed, due to "new menu", why this should close the restauant I don't know. We had to go out to eat and had a job finding anywhere open on a Sunday afternoon/evening, and ended up eating takeaway roast chicken from local supermarket.

This was my first trip to Australia. I would avoid Armidale if I could, it was just an average residential town.

Loved the old school Fridge!!

This was a great place to stay with all the modern comforts in an old world style. Our puppy loved the big grounds and it was perfect for sitting outside in the sun relaxing!!

This hotel was very convenient, good place to stay

This accommodation was very comfortable, clean and the people were very friendly and extremely helpful.

I chose this accommodation because it was close to family we were visiting, so very convenient for us. However of course ideal location, close to Katoomba with lots of fantastic places and scenery in the Blue Mountains. Springwood shopping centre close by, close to train station.

A touch of Australian history

This hotel was quite different from the usual hotel/motel accommodation. We stayed in the Garden Room, which is in fact the original kitchen of this country inn, separate from the main building. This inn is a heritage building, built in 1847, right in the middle of town, 45 mins from Canberra. The only shock was the floor which was untreated brick paving. However, the room was tastefully renovated, with added touches of bath robes, an in-room open fire for winter, spa bath, hot cross buns, chocolates, biscuits and cakes on arrival.

The owner was very friendly and helpful.

If travelling through Moree to Queensland again I would keep going and stay the night at Goondiwindi

The room was ok, clean enough - just basic probably a a night room not the that we paid. It was pointless having a barbeque area as the bbq was absolutely filthy and the area smelled from old fats and beer cans that looked like they had been in the bin for quite some time. When we mentioned to the lady that the bbq was unuseable and the surrounding area very dirty her only comment was that "people dont clean up after themselves" however its up to them to ensure their facility is impeccably clean if they want people to stay there.

Moree does not have the greatest reputation however we found the town to be quite neat and tidy and in general service people we came into contact with (other than our accomodation) were quite friendly and helpful. We only had an overnight stay.
